The Canterbury Volleyball Association (CVA) was formed in the 1960's, and was first incorporated in December 2003.

 

Since its inception CVA has been involved in bringing a variety of volleyball opportunities to Canterbury.

 

These have included bringing social, competitive, national and international events to the community.

 

Over the past 10 years, the organisation has continued to grow (even during restrictions enforced through Covid), including the numbers of people participating, programmes initiated and teams competing.

 

CVA continues to operate out of the Pioneer Recreation and Leisure Centre, and utilises courts right across the city to enable as many teams to play as possible.
